I have discovered a very interesting website: animoto
Animoto does nice videos from your videos and images automatically. The output is pretty impressive and it is very easy to use. With the free account you get 30 sec videos.
Take a look at the one I just did for my son. It has taken me few minutes to do. Just upload some photos a couple of videos and write a bit of text:
