Sigma 10-20 for Nikon

I got my new lens for the Nikon d300, the Sigma 10-20!
I’m so looking forward for the weekend!

    How good is this lens in controlling barrel distortion?

    A 10mm always distorts!!
    The effect is nice but what I do is, in case of shooting architecture, correct the distortions using DxO (http://www.dxo.com).
