Google voice

May 12, 2009

imggooglelogo200902.jpgGoogle Voice is coming soon. It is a service that gives you one number for all your phones, voicemail that is easy as email, and many enhanced calling features like call blocking and screening, voicemail transcripts, call conferencing, international calls, and more.

Google Voice is currently available for GrandCentral users only, but will be open to new users soon. In the meantime, please leave them your email address and they will notify you as soon as Google Voice becomes available. To learn more about Google Voice, check out the feature videos.

When can you sign up?
Google expects to have the service ready for new users in a matter of weeks, and are focused on opening it as soon as possible.

How much does it cost?
The service is free.

What do I do if you are already a GrandCentral user?
Over the next few days, instructions will appear at the top of your inbox on how to upgrade your GrandCentral account to Google Voice.

Again a promising service from google. You will not have to give away your personal number. Basically you get this google voice number, and then through the web you control who is being transfered to which of your phones, sms, voicemail…. Petty that it will be only for the US….
